Znalazłem na necie ciekawy artykuł jak przerobi hamulec przedni aby był bardziej efektywny w VX. Oto treś artykułu:
Wes Kendall's Modifications to his VX800
Here is Wes' latest modification - in his own words
"My most recent project has been to upgrade the front brake caliper on my bike. I used a Yamaha monobloc caliper form a R6. These are very good calipers, and they show up on E bay on a fairly regular basis. I guess guys on R6's have a hard time keeping the rubber side down LOL. You will only need the left caliper, but they are usually sold in pairs. I got a pair for a little under $50, including shipping. I made an adapter bracket from 10mm thick aluminum plate that attaches the R6 caliper to the fork leg of the VX. I am using the stock VX rotor, because I feel that it has a sufficiently large enough diameter for this application. The lack of floating mounting for the rotor does not seem to have any ill effect. I currently have the stock 1/2" master cylinder on the bike, and the brake seems to work very well. The lever is very firm, and the bike stops well with a firm squeeze. I have, however, ordered a smaller 11mm master cylinder from Brembo, because I think that it will provide more power and better feel, at the expense of some firmness at the lever. It's a trade off that I am willing to make. If you prefer a firm brake lever, and don't mind having to use a little muscle to stop the bike, you might prefer the bike with the stock 1/2" master cylinder. "
